Common Ground

In the summer of 2017, three friends will set off on a week-long journey from Bozeman to Red Lodge, Montana.  This journey will span 250 miles across the largest intact ecosystem in the lower forty-eight. Traversing this landscape will draw attention to the importance of the common space surrounding Yellowstone National Park.

Selected for the 2018 Trailrunning Film Fest.

Winner of the 2018 Montana Wilderness Association’s Keep it Wild Award.

The Common Ground Project

Through immersive retreats, THE COMMON GROUND PROJECT is calling on students, families & friends, corporate groups, social innovators, and anybody looking for a deeper connection to wild places. Our programs include guided hikes, educational and collaborative workshops, equine therapy, lessons in storytelling, and more!

Please help us build our facilities, form a scholarship fund, and empower the global community to find common ground through the art of storytelling... one campfire at a time.
